Since the beginning of the day, Ukrainian forces have suffered one missile strike and 41 airstrikes. A total of 3440 kamikaze drone strikes and 2341 shellings have been recorded. Combat engagements continue in various directions of the front, indicating active hostilities.

As of January 3, at 22:00, there have been 191 combat engagements. In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders neutralized 33 invaders, of which 19 were irretrievable losses. During the hostilities, 31 unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed. The enemy carried out 63 shellings of Ukrainian military positions and populated areas in the North-Sloviansk and Kursk directions.

Activity of hostilities

  • In the South-Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian warriors repelled 16 attacks.
  • In the Kup'yansk direction, the enemy attempted to attack the positions of Ukrainian defenders 14 times.
  • In the Lyman direction, the aggressor conducted 22 attacks.
  • In the Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian military repelled four attacks.
  • In the Kostiantynivka direction, the enemy attempted to breach the defense 18 times.
  • In the Pokrovsk direction, the aggressor carried out 31 assault and offensive actions.
  • In the Oleksandrivka direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 17 attacks.
  • In the Huliaipole direction, there were 33 combat engagements.
  • In the Orikhiv direction, the invader attacked the positions of Ukrainian units twice.

It is noteworthy that the full-scale war in Ukraine has entered its 1410th day. In the face of constant attacks, Ukrainian forces continue to actively defend their territory, demonstrating resilience and readiness to repel aggression.

The situation at the front remains tense, indicating the continuation of active hostilities and an increased level of threats to Ukrainian forces. Continuous attacks by Russian troops require high concentration and readiness from Ukrainian military personnel to repel the offensive. This dynamic may significantly influence the strategies of both sides in the near future.
