Massive strike on Ukraine

Russia launched nearly 300 drones, 18 ballistic, and 7 cruise missiles at Ukraine, focusing on energy infrastructure. Several regions were affected by the strikes, including Dnipropetrovsk and Kyiv. This marked another stage of escalation in the conflict, leading to significant human and material losses.

Among the consequences of this massive strike, 4 people died as a result of an attack on a postal terminal in Korotych, Kharkiv region. Also, several hundred thousand families in the Kyiv region were left without electricity. This situation has caused serious energy supply problems in the regions affected by the attacks.

Affected regions

Regions that were hit included:

  • Dnipropetrovsk
  • Zhytomyr
  • Zaporizhzhia
  • Kyiv
  • Odesa
  • Sumy
  • Kharkiv
  • Donetsk

The authorities are taking measures to improve the situation, including deploying Points of Invincibility, aimed at providing support for affected citizens. The situation remains complex, and further actions by the authorities and rescue services will be focused on restoring stability in the energy system.

This massive strike demonstrates the continuation of Russia's aggressive tactics aimed at destroying Ukraine's critical infrastructure.

In light of recent events, the importance of supporting the country's energy security becomes even more relevant. The authorities must focus not only on restoring electricity supply but also on ensuring the safety of the civilian population amid growing threats. The situation highlights the need for international support for Ukraine in its struggle against aggression and for restoring stability in the region.
