Massive strike on Ukraine

Russia launched a massive strike on Ukraine, firing over 650 drones and 30 rockets, resulting in casualties and injuries. The most significant damage is observed in the western regions, particularly in Odesa, where significant destruction has been recorded.

As a result of the shelling in the Kyiv region, one woman was killed due to a Russian drone strike. In Khmelnytskyi, one more person was killed, and tragically, a four-year-old child died in Zhytomyr region. There are also reports of injuries in various regions.

Consequences of the shelling

In the areas where the enemy struck, there are interruptions in electricity supply. In Odesa, civilian warehouses and critical energy facilities were damaged. Furthermore, due to the nighttime shelling, a civilian vessel under the flag of Lebanon was damaged in the Odesa port.

The Resilience Points are functioning to assist residents affected by the shelling. Currently, efforts are underway to eliminate the consequences of the attack, and relevant services are working to restore normal life in the affected regions.

This massive missile strike is one of the largest in recent times and demonstrates the escalation of aggression from Russia.

In Ukraine, work is ongoing to restore infrastructure and provide assistance to those affected, while the international community continues to monitor and respond to the situation. It is important to note that such attacks negatively affect the civilian population, which is already suffering from the consequences of the war.
