Intense Overnight Assault by Russia on Ukraine
In the early hours of October 23, Russia launched a large-scale offensive targeting ten regions across Ukraine. The strikes resulted in damage to residential buildings, critical infrastructure, and agricultural facilities. Tragically, one person lost their life during these attacks. In Kyiv, the Southern Bridge was hit three times, leading to destruction of the roadway and protective barriers of the metro system.

Damage to residential buildings was confirmed in Sumy, Izium, Kramatorsk, and the outskirts of Kyiv. On the morning following the attacks, a Russian drone struck a 25-story apartment building in the capital. Ukrainian Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky expressed condolences to the family of the deceased:

The assault also targeted agricultural enterprises, farms, research institutions, educational facilities, railway infrastructure, and grocery stores. Prime Minister Koretsky extended his gratitude to rescue workers, police officers, medical personnel, and all emergency responders for their efforts:
