Since the beginning of 2025, Russia has significantly increased the use of drones in military actions against Ukraine. This information was released by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), noting that such escalation may be a response to the actions of the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump regarding the resolution of the conflict in Ukraine.
The institute's analysis shows that missile and drone attacks from the Russian Federation on Ukrainian territory not only did not decrease after the Trump-Putin talks but, on the contrary, have increased. This growing activity may be aimed at demonstrating protest to the American leadership regarding the Ukrainian conflict.
A recent mysterious discovery that a Russian factory in Yelabuga is mass-producing drones further confirms Russia's aggressive role in the region, as evidenced by the increasing attacks on Ukraine and high mobilization of military resources.
