Last week, there was an activation of Russian troops in the southern direction: they started carrying out more airstrikes and using more drones.

Spokesman for the Southern Defense Forces Vladislav Voloshin told Ukrinform that the situation has become more tense compared to the previous week. Although the number of combat clashes decreased to 35, the enemy increased the use of guided aviation bombs by 15% - 71 such bombs were dropped. The use of unguided aviation rockets also increased by 8%: the Russian aviation launched 164 such rockets.

The enemy doubled the use of loitering munitions and increased drone strikes with kamikaze drones and FPV drones by 17%, to 4,540 attacks over the week.

'Last week, the enemy intensified airstrikes with aviation, FPV drones, and loitering munitions,' Voloshin summarized.

As a result of the escalation in the south and the increase in the activity of Russian troops, the situation at the front line is becoming increasingly tense. It is necessary to monitor the enemy's movements more closely and prepare for potential enemy attacks.
