Russia has changed its tactics in the Kramatorsk direction: abandoning equipment in favor of infantry

Зміни в стратегії Росії: в Краматорському напрямку акцент на пішу піхоту замість техніки.

Change of tactics by the Russian command in the Kramatorsk direction

The Russian command has changed its tactics in the Kramatorsk direction, abandoning the mass use of armored vehicles in favor of small infantry groups. The commander of the drone battalion 'Sapsany' of the 30th separate mechanized brigade, Mykhailo Trach, made this statement during a telethon.

According to the information received, the occupiers are using foggy weather for covert advances. The enemy's new tactic involves moving in small groups of one or two fighters. These fighters are equipped with thermal cloaks and capes, allowing them to remain less visible to the enemy.

Tactics of continuous attacks

The Russian leadership is also applying the tactic of continuous waves of attacks, which allows them to maintain constant pressure on the positions of the Ukrainian troops. According to Trach's statements,

"the basis now is small infantry groups, and their movement in ones or twos, in thermal cloaks"
He noted that
"it's very easy to hide alone in the field"
. Such use of tactics may indicate a shortage of armored vehicles in the Russian forces, as the abandonment of technical means may be due to limited resources.

Thus, the change in tactics by the Russian command in the Kramatorsk direction indicates an adaptation to the conditions of combat, where small groups can effectively operate in limited visibility conditions. This new strategy could complicate tasks for Ukrainian forces, who must be prepared for new challenges on the battlefield. Such changes in tactics may also indicate the evolution of the conflict and the need to adapt appropriate defensive measures by Ukraine to ensure the effectiveness of its troops in combating the enemy.
