Intensity of fighting in the Pokrovsky direction
In the Pokrovsky direction, combat actions have become significantly more active, with more than a third of all clashes in this sector attributable to the group 'East'.
The Russian occupiers have changed their tactics, abandoning infantry attacks in favor of mass use of heavy equipment, reported the spokesperson of the group 'East', Captain Grigory Shapoval, in a TV broadcast.
'Instead of entering with small mobile groups, the enemy has recently used both heavy equipment and larger numbers of personnel', explained Shapoval.
Situation on the front
According to the spokesperson, the Russian command has transferred significant forces to this direction. Specific details are not disclosed for security reasons, however, the number of assaults and clashes has noticeably increased compared to the previous period.
Despite the difficult situation, Ukrainian forces have received additional units and assault groups, as well as reinforcements in the form of Drone Forces. According to Shapoval, the situation is complicated but remains under the control of the Ukrainian defenders.
