Russian troops attacked civilian transport in Kherson
According to the head of the Kherson regional military-civil administration Oleksandr Prokudin, since the evening of August 25, Russian troops have begun attacks on civilian transport on the M-14 Kherson – Mykolaiv highway.
Prokudin urges people to refrain from using this route and advises to avoid it unless absolutely necessary due to attacks by Russian military. There may also be movement restrictions due to drones.
The head of the regional administration calls on people to look for alternative routes and consider restrictions when planning trips. He also stated that all possible measures are being taken in cooperation with the military to stabilize the situation.
Unfortunately, the issue of establishing anti-drone nets for the protection of civilian facilities in the combat zone remains unresolved due to high costs and legal difficulties. Authorities do not provide clear guidelines on responsibility for this process.
Anti-drone nets for protection against Russian attacks
According to the information from the Support Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, nets for anti-drone corridors are being purchased under a special budget program that guarantees quality and standardization of materials. Various types of durable nets and other materials are used to protect populated areas.
Recently, Russian occupiers staged several attacks on a route bus in the suburbs of Kherson, demonstrating brutality in their aggressive actions against the civilian population.
In Kherson, Russian troops attacked civilian transport, posing a threat to local residents. Authorities advise to avoid certain routes and look for alternative options, as well as taking measures to stabilize the situation. At the same time, the establishment of anti-drone nets remains a pressing issue due to financial difficulties and legal nuances.
