On the night of October 4, Russian terrorists launched an attack on Chernihiv using strike drones. They targeted critical infrastructure, causing large-scale fires, reports Hlavkom.

On the same day, Russian occupiers also attacked the Donetsk region, hitting critical facilities in the area.

According to OVA information, the enemy directed strikes specifically at critical infrastructure. Energy facilities in Donetsk became targets of the attack, resulting in power outages in certain areas.

As a result of the attack, Druzhkivka and Kostiantynivka were left without electricity, as well as some parts of Kramatorsk. Additionally, an emergency situation occurred at the Chernobyl NPP, leading to a power outage.

After the Russian assault on the energy facility in Slavutych, the Chernobyl nuclear power plant experienced a blackout. As a result, the new safe enclosed sarcophagus, which protects the damaged 4th reactor, was left without power due to voltage issues.

It is noteworthy that on October 1, Russian occupiers also launched an attack on Slavutych, which caused power outages in the city and left about 20,000 local residents without electricity.

The events that took place indicate a serious threat from Russian terrorists to Ukraine's energy security and the need to strengthen security and defense measures in the country.
