Air attack on Kyiv region
The Kyiv region was subjected to an air attack by Russian occupiers, leading to destruction and fires in residential areas and industrial facilities. Fires were extinguished with no casualties among the civilian population. The shelling occurred on January 13.
Types of attacks and their consequences
It is noted that the enemy attacked Ukraine with:
- 18 ballistic missiles 'Iskander-M'
- seven missiles 'Iskander-K'
- 293 strike drones of the Shahed type and 'Gerbera'
Strikes were inflicted on Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kyiv regions.
As a result of the attack on a postal terminal in the suburbs of Kharkiv, four people died, and six were injured. Rescuers saved 30 people. In the Brovary and Fastiv districts, rescuers extinguished fires in an outbuilding and one temporary structure. In the Vyshhorod district, enemy shelling caused a fire in a residential building.
Currently, work is underway to eliminate the consequences of the shelling and assess the damage incurred.
This attack is part of the ongoing military conflict between Russia and Ukraine, which has lasted for over a year. The noted shelling indicates an escalation of violence that threatens the safety of the civilian population and infrastructure.
