Snovsk and Zaporizhzhia Shelling

Russian troops carried out shelling in Snovsk, Chernihiv region, using drones. The strikes were directed at the city's transport infrastructure and the local cemetery, resulting in damage to graves and monuments. As a result of the attack, a 40-year-old local resident was injured by shrapnel and was hospitalized. There is smoke observed at a transport company in the city, and information about the damage is currently being clarified.

“Smoke is currently observed at the transport company, so information about the damage is being clarified. All relevant services are operating on site to promptly eliminate the consequences of the shelling,” said the head of the Koryukivka district military administration, Pavlo Miroshnichenko.

On May 26, Russian terrorists attacked Zaporizhzhia, resulting in at least three people being injured. This attack was part of a large-scale shelling that took place on the night of May 24, when Russia used ballistic and hypersonic missiles, as well as hundreds of strike drones and imitators. The cost of these strikes is measured in hundreds of millions of dollars.

Maria Zakharova, a representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, threatened new strikes on Kyiv, stating:

“Retaliatory strikes have been and will be made against Kyiv.”

The situation remains tense, and events continue to unfold.

Impact on Civil Infrastructure

These attacks underscore the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, where Russian troops actively use drones to attack civilian infrastructure. The damage from such attacks, as recent events indicate, not only harms material objects but also threatens the lives of civilians. Meanwhile, the response from the Russian side indicates an escalation of tension, suggesting the possibility of further military actions in the region.

The situation in Ukraine continues to deteriorate, as evidenced by recent attacks on other cities, such as the strike on Kyiv, where civilian objects were affected. These events indicate an escalation of the conflict and a threat to the civilian population, making it important to monitor the developments of the situation.
