Ukrainian military expects provocations from Russians. The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine believes that provocations from Russia are possible in the areas of exchanges and repatriations. GUR representative Andriy Yusov emphasized that the situation may be unpredictable and requires vigilance.
'We understand that various provocations from the aggressor may continue in different areas, including sensitive topics such as exchanges and repatriations,' Yusov emphasized.
According to him, the Ukrainian security and defense forces have experience in responding to such situations, which they gained during the full-scale invasion. Actions of Russian provocations are categorically countered, and work is underway to prepare for the next stages of exchanges.
'This large team work will continue, and we expect further news soon,' concluded the GUR representative.
Regarding difficulties in coordinating lists for exchanges, Yusov explained that this task requires a significant amount of attention and persistence, but the result itself is important. Despite the difficulties, the negotiating group effectively defends Ukraine's positions.
Currently, Ukrainian military is ready for possible provocations from Russia and is focused on preparing for exchanges and repatriations. The Main Intelligence Directorate sees threats in these areas and is actively working on measures to counter such actions.
