Units of the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Black Zaporizhians in Kharkiv Oblast are ready for a possible activation of Russian troops. The battalion commander of the brigade, Andriy Nazarenko, emphasized that their front line is well fortified in engineering, explosive, and mine-explosive terms.

The brigade's fighters keep Russian troops at bay and actively scout and destroy identified targets. This complicates the enemy's ability to form forces for assaults. Even during attempts at diversionary actions or crossing water obstacles or forest areas, the enemy is eliminated before landing.

'The lightly armored and armored vehicles were last repelled directly, probably back in March-April in the Pokrovsk direction. After that, there were some motorcycle movements. In this area, armored vehicles were only seen working from closed positions,' explained Commander Nazarenko.

Change in Enemy Tactics Due to Weather Conditions

With the onset of cold weather, a change in the tactics of Russian troops is expected. The brigade chief believes that enemies will switch to tracked vehicles due to difficult conditions. This will force Ukrainian defenders to adapt, but the brigade is already prepared for these challenges.

The preparedness and activity of the Ukrainian military are directed towards the expected change in tactics of Russian troops due to the approaching cold weather. Defensive positions are strengthened, and soldiers are ready for any potential challenges.
