Russian military actively operates in the Kupiansk direction

In the Kupiansk direction, the Russian military attacks in small infantry groups using motorcycles and light transport. Recently, the occupiers have begun to use thermal tents for camouflage, reported the head of the communications department of the 3rd assault brigade with the call sign 'Acrobat' during a telethon.

'This is not just a cloak they throw over, but small wigwams in which they move. Perhaps it would be effective if our comrades from the drone systems weren't monitoring the battlefield so closely,' explained 'Acrobat'.

Russian losses and their weaponry

The scale of Russian losses is surprising in its illogicality. To capture just one observation post, the Russians are ready to sacrifice a significant number of soldiers—about a hundred per one small position in the forest belt. According to a military officer, a recent conversation with a Russian prisoner revealed the typical weaponry of assault groups: 'One automatic weapon and four packs of ammunition, comrades—on the ground. These are not very effective troops, but we can't ignore this hundred of people.'

'Acrobat' emphasized that there are 'many such attempts at breakthrough along the entire line of responsibility'. This indicates that the Russians continue to use mass attack tactics with poorly trained infantry, hoping to exhaust the Ukrainian defense by quantity rather than quality of assault operations.

During combat operations in the Kupiansk direction, Russian troops employ unconventional combat methods, such as thermal tents for camouflage and mass attacks by poorly trained infantry. The military relies on quantity rather than quality, hoping to exhaust the Ukrainian defense.
