In the Lyman direction, Russian losses continue, and this is due to the low level of training and the forced involvement of military personnel in assault operations. According to the head of communications of the 60th Separate Mechanized Inhul Battalion, Maksym Biloisov, most mobilized soldiers lack the necessary military skills and training, and the varying levels of these skills significantly affect the effectiveness of the enemy's actions.

The conditions in which mobilized Russian soldiers are held are also unfavorable. According to the officer, before the assault, they are given weapons, but the journey back is already impossible, making any resistance or refusal to participate in combat operations impossible. Russian servicemen who often planned to serve in rear units now find themselves in incredibly difficult combat conditions, which may explain the high losses of the enemy in the Lyman direction.
