Russian occupiers conduct daily attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops. On the Pokrovsky direction, positions of the 14th brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine known as 'Red Kalina' were once again shelled the day before. The attempts of the Russian occupiers to break through the Ukrainian defense continue, and they operate in small infantry groups to avoid direct clashes with Ukrainian military. This information was provided by the brigade's press officer Maxim Bakulin.

According to Bakulin, the Russian enemy constantly replenishes its ranks with new reserves to continue its offensive actions. Their tactic, according to him, consists of 'infiltrating' through the line of defense of the Ukrainian army to establish their position and look for weak points in the defense. In doing so, they avoid direct clashes with Ukrainian special forces, trying to operate 'in the gray.'

'They avoid head-on confrontations with our infantry, with our special forces. They try to 'go gray' simply passing by our positions and attempting to establish themselves. That is, you never know where a group of occupiers might appear,' Bakulin explained.

It is also worth noting that the Russian forces have demonstrated the capability of utilizing armored vehicles that they can employ under favorable conditions. However, the use of armored vehicles depends on the weather conditions, as rain or snow can cause the vehicles to get stuck in soft ground, so the occupiers may refuse this type of attack and look for other courses of action.

The conflict in Eastern Ukraine continues to escalate, as the occupiers switch from one type of attack to another, trying to find a weak spot in the Ukrainian defense. Ukrainian troops are forced to hold the line and respond to enemy actions, maintaining their positions on the front line.
