Shelling in the Kherson Region

Russian military forces carried out attacks in Ukraine's Kherson region, causing significant damage to infrastructure and civilian casualties. The assault resulted in six civilians being wounded. The strikes damaged four apartment buildings, three private houses, a farm, a gas station, and several private vehicles. The Kherson region, liberated from Russian occupation in late 2022, remains under constant threat from shelling and attacks launched from the opposite bank of the Dnipro River.

On the morning of April 6, around 10 a.m., the Korabelnyi district of Kherson city came under fire. According to Governor Oleksandr Prokudin, Russian forces targeted critical and social infrastructure, damaging not only residential areas but also strategic sites. Additionally, remote mining of residential districts and key facilities with anti-personnel mines, such as the "Pryanyk" ("Plyushka") type, was recorded in Kherson.
