Last night, enemy forces attacked a service vehicle of the State Emergency Service, resulting in the death of one rescuer and two civilians. The incident occurred while inspecting the area after a previous bombardment.
Rescue workers came under fire from artillery, leading to a direct hit on the service vehicle of the State Emergency Service.
Injuries and Death
23-year-old Danilo Khizhnyak, who was a rescuer, was killed in the attack along with two civilians. Four others were injured, including three State Emergency Service workers and one civilian.
Recall that in July, Russian invaders wounded four rescuers in the Donetsk region during an attack on their convoy. Additionally, Russian troops attacked rescuers who were fighting a fire in the Dnipropetrovsk region, leading to new casualties.
As a result of the enemy attack, one rescuer and two civilians were killed, and four others were injured. Attacks on rescuers during their operations are becoming increasingly dangerous, indicating the need to enhance security measures to protect the civilian population and rescuers.
