The Russian occupying forces have intensified in the southern direction, trying to break through the Ukrainian defense. However, all their attempts have ended in failure, reported spokesperson of the Southern Defense Forces Vladyslav Voloshyn.
In particular, in the Orekhiv direction, enemy forces attempted to launch a large-scale attack, but thanks to good intelligence, Ukrainian troops managed to respond to this attack in advance, struck, and repelled the enemy advance. As a result, the enemy suffered serious losses – about 150 soldiers and over 30 units of equipment were lost in just one assault attempt.
'The enemy achieved no results, instead suffering significant losses – approximately 150 servicemen and about 30 units of equipment. And this is only for one assault attempt,' Voloshyn noted.
Beyond the Orekhiv direction, enemy troops have also increased pressure in the Stepnohirski direction and near the Antonivski bridges, attempting to push Ukrainian forces out of these areas. In the Dnipro direction, the situation also remains tense, and enemy forces are trying to conduct attacks in the area of the Antonivski bridges.
The Ukrainian army successfully repelled all attacks by the occupying forces in the south of the country, inflicting significant losses on the enemy and preventing a breakthrough of the Ukrainian defense.
