Intensive battles at the Vovchansk direction
At the Vovchansk direction, Russian troops are constantly gathering forces along with daily assaults by small groups, but they suffer large losses due to the successful resistance of Ukrainian defenders. This was reported by the commander of the 'Forpst' brigade border post with the call sign 'Telik' on Army TV.
According to the commander, each day 4 Russian soldiers are sent to attack Ukrainian positions. 'They carry out assault actions in small groups. 3-4-5 soldiers can rush to assault,' explained 'Telik'.
During more massive attacks, the occupiers use heavy equipment - tanks, MTLB, and armored personnel carriers. However, even this does not help them achieve their goals due to the successful activities of Ukrainian intelligence and FPV drones.
'However, they also do not achieve their goals thanks to our scouts who identify them in advance, and accordingly, with the help of FPV drones, attack and destroy them,' explained the commander.
Drones as a threat to Ukrainian defenders
A large number of enemy drones, both assault and reconnaissance, pose a significant threat to Ukrainian defenders, creating a real 'drone army' in the sky. Especially dangerous are fiber-optic drones that the Russians use as 'live spies'.
'Such drones land on the road and wait for our equipment,' emphasized the commander of the border post.
The situation at the Vovchansk direction reflects the intensity of combat actions, where Russian troops are trying to break through the Ukrainian defense through constant pressure from small groups, but have faced successful resistance from the 'Forpst' brigade's units.
