Situation in Kupyansk
Russian troops are pushing toward Kupyansk from both the right and left banks of the Oskil River. Viktor Tregubov, spokesperson for the Joint Forces Grouping, reported intensified combat in the northern part of the city and the settlement of Holubivka. The invaders are working to establish a foothold in this area, advancing aggressively from the north into Kupyansk.
According to reports, the occupiers have managed to move deeper into Holubivka, where they are using gas pipelines to infiltrate the city's northern districts. Viktor Tregubov stated:
“The Russians are actively trying to force their way into Kupyansk on the right bank of the Oskil River from the north. They have managed to push a bit closer into the settlement of Holubivka. They are using various infrastructure facilities, such as gas pipelines, in their attempts to penetrate the northern parts of the city.” - Viktor Tregubov

On the left bank of the Oskil River, Ukrainian defense forces hold a bridgehead that Russian forces are trying to eliminate by pushing them back across the river.
