Massive use of drones by Russian troops in the combat zone
Russian troops launch from 5 to 6 thousand drones of various types along the front line every day, confirming the massive use of drones in combat. This was reported by National Guard spokesman Ruslan Muzychuk on air.
'We see that the enemy is deploying a large number of drones at the front line - it's more than 5 thousand, and sometimes even more than 6 thousand per day,' said the National Guard representative.
In the occupiers' arsenal, loitering munitions such as 'Lancet', reconnaissance drones, kamikaze drones 'Molniya', FPV drones, and Mavic quadcopters of various modifications prevail. Despite the widespread use of enemy drones, Ukrainian defenders successfully counter this threat.
According to Muzychuk, only in the Donetsk direction, more than 30 loitering munitions 'Lancet' and hundreds of kamikaze drones are destroyed per day. The mass use of drones has become one of the characteristic features of modern combat on the Russo-Ukrainian front.
This requires the Ukrainian Armed Forces to continuously improve means of countering drones and develop their own drone units.
During combat on the Russo-Ukrainian front, Russian troops use up to 6000 drones daily, including reconnaissance and attack models. Ukrainian defenders successfully oppose this threat and destroy a significant number of enemy drones daily.
