In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy has intensified attacks: Russian troops are using infiltration, trying to penetrate into populated areas in small groups and avoid clashes with the frontline forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported by 'Glavkom' with reference to the 7th rapid response brigade of the Airborne Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian troops have intensified assault actions in the area of responsibility of the 7th rapid response brigade and are trying to complicate the work of Ukrainian logistics in the Pokrovsk direction. 'The dominant tactic of the enemy is becoming infiltration - attempts to penetrate in small groups, bypassing the forward positions of our troops,' the brigade command reported.
Counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The Armed Forces of Ukraine are conducting counteroffensive actions in the areas of Dobropillya and Pokrovsk. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that about 330 km of territory is under Ukrainian control: 160 km has already been liberated, and more than 170 km has been cleared of the enemy.
It is noted that the Russian troops have brought the 61st Marine Brigade to this direction, as they are suffering significant losses in personnel.
