Over the past few days, Russian occupation forces have intensified their activity in the Vovchansk direction, as reported by the spokesperson of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Andriy Demchenko. A massive assault on the border unit took place, during which the Russians used infantry, armored vehicles, and motorized equipment in their attack.
'In the last few days, we have seen that the enemy is trying to become more active in the Vovchansk direction,' emphasized Demchenko.
Successful Operation
Thanks to the resilience and heroism of Ukrainian defenders, the attack was repelled, and the enemy suffered serious losses in both equipment and personnel.
'This equipment was destroyed, and, failing to achieve results, the enemy retreated,' confirmed the spokesman of the State Border Guard Service.
Additionally, the State Border Guard Service also reported on the successful operation carried out by the 'Forpost' brigade border guards, who stopped an enemy group at the approaches to Ukrainian positions.
Using drones, the border guards detected a group of Russians attempting to advance towards Ukrainian positions. Thanks to precise strikes with drops and FPV drones, the enemy could not get close to Ukrainian positions.
'As a result of the attack, one of the occupiers was captured by the Ukrainians, while all others suffered heavy losses,' reported the State Border Guard Service.
Events in the Vovchansk direction indicate attempts by Russian occupation forces to increase their activity in border areas. Active defensive operations and successful missions by Ukrainian defenders demonstrate the readiness and effectiveness of the Ukrainian armed forces in defending their positions and repelling the aggressor.
