A Russian received 23 years in prison for helping the Armed Forces of Ukraine

A Russian serviceman was sentenced to 23 years in prison for collaborating with Ukraine. Former Russian serviceman Anton Khozhayev was found guilty of attempted treason and treason. Khozhayev deserted and tried to join the 'Freedom of Russia' legion. However, he admitted: 'I just wanted to help the neighboring people restore peace in their land, drive out the occupiers and state terrorists from their land.' The Russian also stated that he was tortured for testimony but does not want to be associated with the Russian army, calling it 'dirty trash.' The defendant assured that he is innocent and ended his closing words with: 'Glory to Ukraine.'
