Russian attack on Kyiv and the region
The Russian attack on Kyiv and the region has led to casualties and injuries, damage to residential buildings, and evacuation from the rubble. One death and over 20 injuries have been officially confirmed in the capital. As a result of the shelling, around a dozen civilian objects in the region were also damaged.
Moreover, one person died in Bila Tserkva. More than 10 residential buildings in Kyiv have been damaged, causing concern among local residents. Consequently, 68 people were evacuated from a geriatric boarding house in the Darnytsia district, where there was danger due to the attack.
Comment from the Minister of Internal Affairs
In light of these events, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Ihor Klymenko, noted that as a result of yet another Russian attack, hits on civilian infrastructure have been recorded. He emphasized that he is in constant contact with the heads of the units and is receiving reports from every point where works are ongoing.
