Attack on the 'K.O.D' Series Set
During the night of May 24, a Russian missile hit the pavilion where the series 'K.O.D' is being filmed. Fortunately, no one was injured in the attack, but the second floor and the service area of the pavilion sustained damage. Filming of the series will continue, and the sets are being urgently restored to keep production moving. Actor Oleksii Surovtsev shared footage from the impact site on Instagram, confirming that missile fragments remained near the pavilion walls.
Massive Attack on Kyiv
The attack on Kyiv was part of a large-scale missile and drone assault, during which 56 missiles and 675 drones were launched. Not only the series pavilion was hit, but also over 40 locations across Kyiv, including schools, residential buildings, and shopping centers. According to distributor 'SPACE production', 690 aerial attack assets were recorded, including 90 missiles and 600 drones of various types.
The distributor of the series 'K.O.D', working in partnership with the STB television channel, notes that the team operates under constant air raid alerts, without electricity, and relying on generators.
“We have learned to work under alarms... Since early morning, our team has been clearing debris and restoring the pavilion. Filming will continue,” say representatives of 'SPACE production'.
The attack resulted in over 80 casualties in Kyiv, and Ukraine has convened the UN Security Council and the OSCE.
“Last night, Kyiv experienced one of the most terrifying attacks since the start of the full-scale war. Every strike is a crime,” reads a statement from the distributor.
The situation remains difficult, but Ukrainians continue working and filming the series 'K.O.D', as its creators note, “for many people, these times with the series 'K.O.D' are like a breath of fresh air.” “Thank God everyone is alive,” emphasize team representatives. In the future, screenwriters may urgently adapt the series plot based on real events, so that everyone can see it.
This attack highlights the challenging security situation in Ukraine, where civilian objects frequently become targets amid military actions. Despite the hardships, the team behind the series 'K.O.D' demonstrates resilience and continues their work, aiming to boost the morale of citizens during these difficult times. It is important that media and cultural projects remain active, as they can serve as a source of inspiration and comfort for many people in Ukraine.
