September 25 Strikes Shake Kyiv
On September 25, Kyiv endured multiple Russian missile and drone attacks that resulted in seven fatalities and left 46 people wounded, among them children. The assaults caused damage to both office and residential buildings in the Solomyanskyi and Pecherskyi districts. Public transportation in the city is currently operating with delays and schedule disruptions.
In the Solomyanskyi district, the impact of a drone strike severely damaged the facade and shattered windows of a five-story office building, sparking a fire. Four people lost their lives, and at least ten sustained injuries following the drone’s hit on the office structure. Kyiv police confirmed that bodies of four victims were found around and inside the building: two on the street nearby, one inside the premises, and another in a car parked nearby.
Meanwhile, in the Pecherskyi district, one teenager was among those killed, and 31 individuals were injured during the drone attacks. Among the 25 hospitalized victims are two children. Overall, five Kyiv residents—including one child—died from Russian drone strikes on September 25. Additionally, missile attacks on September 24 claimed two lives and injured eight more. These attacks caused debris to fall across various neighborhoods, igniting fires and damaging warehouses, administrative offices, private homes, and buildings near a maternity hospital.
