Fires in Kherson region

Over the past day, rescuers in the Kherson region extinguished 6 fires caused by Russian attacks. In Kherson, as a result of enemy FPV drone strikes, the following caught fire:

  • two private houses,
  • a one-story apartment building,
  • an apartment in a multi-story building,
  • the outdoor area of a closed café.

Additionally, in the village of Zarichne, Berislav district, the roof of a warehouse and dry vegetation on the territory of an agricultural enterprise caught fire due to the strike of a Russian UAV. Rescuers, together with local fire protection units, extinguished all fires while working under conditions of increased risk of repeated attacks. No information regarding casualties was reported.

Situation in the region

The situation in the Kherson region remains tense due to continuous attacks from Russian forces. Acts of fire aggression lead to significant material losses and pose threats to the lives of local residents. In such conditions, rescue services carry out their work under great risk, trying to protect the population and mitigate the consequences of the attacks.

Amid the ongoing assaults, the situation for local emergency responders is increasingly perilous.
