Russian drones struck Sumy: there are casualties

On Tuesday afternoon, July 22, Russian drones again attacked the Sumy community. This was reported by the head of the regional military administration Oleg Grygory.


Hits were recorded in the Kovpakivskyi district of the city, with broken windows in an educational and medical institution. Preliminary reports indicate that two people were injured and are being hospitalized. The attack also damaged a children's playground and the windows of multi-storey buildings.


One of the enemy drones hit a tree, causing damage to cars and windows in a nearby pharmacy. Emergency services are currently working at the explosion site. The threat of repeated attacks remains.



In a previous attack that occurred on the evening of July 21, the Russians struck Sumy. As a result, five houses, a shopping center, and 18 cars were damaged. Two injured individuals were hospitalized, and another 12 received medical assistance. The State Emergency Service conducted the evacuation of residents and extinguished the fires.
