Kharkiv Under Fire Again: Drone Strikes Hit Apartment Buildings in April

On April 25, Russian forces launched a drone attack on Kharkiv, striking a multi-story residential building in the Saltivka district. As of the time of this report, no casualties have been reported. Mayor Ihor Terekhov confirmed the incident:

“A hostile drone hit an apartment building in the Saltivka district. So far, there are no victims. We are working to determine the details.” – Ihor Terekhov

Earlier, on April 20, Russian occupying forces also targeted Kharkiv with attack drones. That day, strikes were recorded in the Osnovianskyi and Kholodnohirskyi districts. The first strike of the day occurred in the Osnovianskyi district, resulting in one injured person:

“We currently have information about one casualty from the shelling. All relevant services are on site.” – Ihor Terekhov

Additionally, on April 16, enemy forces attacked Kharkiv, with at least two drone impacts documented. One of the strikes hit near an apartment building in the Industrialnyi district, triggering fires in civilian vehicles. These events highlight the ongoing assault on the city by Russian troops.

The situation in Kharkiv remains tense due to regular shelling by Russian forces. Attacks on civilian infrastructure, including residential high-rises, underscore the dangers faced by local residents. City authorities and emergency services continue their efforts to ensure public safety and monitor the aftermath of these assaults.

The recent drone attacks are not isolated incidents, as Kharkiv has faced a series of assaults, including a ballistic missile strike that injured a woman.
