Russian Shaheds in the Airspace of Poland: How NATO and the US Responded

On the night of September 10, Poland temporarily closed its airspace over Lublin Airport and two airports in Warsaw. According to FlightRadar service, passenger planes in the areas of Rzeszów and Lublin are not being recorded, but there is noticeable activity of military aviation. These measures were taken after Russian strike drones 'Shahed' entered Poland's airspace.

In connection with the aerial bombardments of Russian troops on Ukraine, Poland activated all necessary procedures to ensure the safety of its airspace, working together with allied aircraft and mobilizing air defense systems.
