Hostile Strikes Target Lviv Region and Dnipro City
On October 13, Russian military forces launched attacks on both the Lviv region and the city of Dnipro. In the Lviv region’s settlement of Murovane, three residential homes caught fire following the crash of a downed drone, and three vehicles were also damaged. Fortunately, no casualties or injuries were reported in Murovane. Meanwhile, in Dnipro, guided aerial bombs struck multi-story residential buildings, cars, and transportation infrastructure. A 64-year-old man was wounded during the attack and received medical treatment on site but declined hospital admission.
Ukraine’s Air Force detected an enemy drone over Lviv’s airspace around 5 a.m. on October 13. Lviv’s mayor, Andriy Sadovyi, confirmed that the drone was spotted directly above the city. During the nighttime air raid alert in Lviv, air defense systems were active, resulting in the discovery of debris from the Russian drone on one of the city’s streets. During a second air alert that night, no hostile drones entered Lviv region’s airspace.
