Current Conditions in Kyiv Region
For more than a day, Russian forces have launched sustained attacks across Kyiv region, causing extensive damage. These strikes have impacted 31 locations in five districts, resulting in four fatalities, including three children and one woman. Timur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, provided these details.
Extent of Damage Across Districts
The Fastiv district suffered the most destruction, with 24 sites damaged, including:
- residential homes
- industrial and utility buildings
- territory of an agricultural enterprise
- 17 vehicles
In Vyshhorod district, four sites were hit, affecting two private residences, a business facility, and an educational institution. Obukhiv district saw damage to one private home, while in Brovary district, a private residence and a power line were damaged. Bucha district reported harm to a warehouse building.
On September 19, a drone attack in Vyshhorod district injured a mother and child. Later that evening in Fastiv district, a woman and two children lost their lives due to another attack.
"Tragically, a child wounded in the Vyshhorod drone strike has passed away in the hospital. This raises the death toll in Kyiv region to four — three children and one woman," stated Timur Tkachenko.
