The Russian strategic bomber has reappeared over the Black Sea. Ukrainian forces recorded this event after a long period. The discovery was made by the spokesperson of the Ukrainian Navy Dmitry Pletenchuk during a telethon.

'I can't even remember when I last saw them (strategic aviation planes) here. They were carriers of 'Dagger' missiles, and in most cases, they were signals not even for us, but for the events that were happening in the Mediterranean,'
- said Pletenchuk.

According to him, the appearance of the Russian Tu-22M3 bomber is an extraordinary event that is currently being analyzed by the relevant services. He also noted that the activity of Russian aviation in the Black Sea area is very high, with a large number of flights of planes, helicopters, and drones per day.

'We have even seen the use of fifth-generation aircraft Su-57 here, as well as the older Be-12 and Be-200 planes. Each of them performs its specific functions, its tasks - some are used for reconnaissance, some for patrolling. For counter-drone operations - it’s mostly helicopters,'
- clarified the Navy representative.

Even with the deviation of Russian ships in the Odessa region, enemy aviation continues to dominate the air. This was confirmed by Pletenchuk, who noted that tactical aviation is usually used for strikes, while strategic aircraft are rarely encountered.

Ukrainian forces have recorded the appearance of the Russian strategic bomber Tu-22M3 over the Black Sea, indicating a high level of Russian aviation activity in the region. The appearance of this aircraft in rescue operations is of interest to military analysts and observers. Enemy aviation keeps the Navy on edge in the Black Sea zone, despite some withdrawal of ships. Further analysis of this situation and possible reactions from the Ukrainian military can be expected.
