Russian karate coach Andrey Papst strangled his wife Alyona and then staged a car accident with her body. This is reported by Glavkom.
The death of 36-year-old Elena Papst occurred in the Berezovsky district (RF). Russian resources note that the children’s karate coach did not die in an accident, as previously thought.
The investigation established: her husband Andrey drove his wife in the car while she was already dead and staged the accident to cover up the crime – he deliberately crashed into a pole.
Experts found marks on the woman’s neck characteristic of strangulation, and her clothes were covered in dirt and grass. In court, Andrey Papst was charged with murder and was detained for two months. He faces up to 15 years in prison under the murder article.
According to relatives, the family seemed prosperous, but according to other data, Alyona was going to file for divorce. The couple has two children.
Sabre fencer Yana Egoryan won the world championship
Recall that the notorious Russian sabre fencer Yana Egoryan won a gold medal at the world fencing championship.
On Sunday, July 27, Egoryan became the champion of the world championship in Tbilisi. In the final, the Russian defeated Polish fencer Zuzanna Ceslar with a score of 15:11.
