Strike in Poltava
A Russian drone struck the home of blogger and 'MasterChef' star Dasha Yevtukh in Poltava, leaving the building almost completely destroyed. According to her husband, Oleksandr Glazov, no one was inside at the time of the attack. The drone hit a garage located just a few meters from the main house, causing catastrophic structural damage.
The family home, which Glazov purchased before their wedding, is now in a state of emergency. Oleksandr Glazov stated:
'This was our family home, which I bought before we got married. Thank God, the girls were in the village... The force of the blast tore out an entire wall, blew off the roof, and shattered every window and door. Only a skeleton of three walls and some partitions remain.'
He expressed a faint hope that something might be salvaged from the wreckage, but the sheer scale of the destruction is overwhelming.
Wider Attacks Across Ukraine
The property's yard is now littered with debris, including a completely burned-out car. The house's roof is almost entirely gone, and rescue workers say the building will likely have to be demolished. In a separate incident in Kyiv, a strike also hit the home of the ex-wife of former couple Volodymyr Ostapchuk and Khrystyna Horniak. Horniak reported no casualties from that attack, but the residence was also destroyed.
