Russian shelling of Dnipropetrovsk region: deaths and injuries of civilians

Tragedy in Dnipropetrovsk region

As a result of Russian shelling in Dnipropetrovsk region, a 68-year-old man was killed, and three others were injured. Among the victims are men aged 79 and 86, as well as a 87-year-old woman. The shelling hit the city of Nikopol, as well as the communities of Marhanets, Myriv, Chervonohryhorivka, and Pokrovsk.

Damage and consequences

As a result of the attacks, the following were damaged:

  • a private enterprise;
  • 15 residential buildings;
  • several vehicles.

Fires also broke out in the territories of private households, complicating the situation for rescue services. These events highlight the alarming reality faced by the residents of the region.

This tragedy is yet another testament to the escalating violence in Ukraine, where civilians continue to suffer from military actions. Nikopol and surrounding communities are under frequent attacks, making life for local residents increasingly dangerous. It is important that the international community continues to monitor the situation, as it impacts the humanitarian crisis in the region.
