Why protests in Russia do not change the government: an activist's explanation
Аналіз причин, чому демонстрації в Росії не призводять до змін у владі: погляд активіста.
Protests have begun to progress in Russia, but according to Ivan Chuvilyaev, a representative of the anti-war movement 'Go to hell', there are currently not enough conditions for a large-scale political protest in the region. He compared the current situation to the dissident movements of the past, noting that as long as actions are directed in various ways, they cannot initiate a change in the government. Chuvilyaev emphasized that even mass protests will not change the situation in the country, as there are no independent media or a parliament that could influence the government. He also pointed out that Putin's Russia is different from other countries where protests helped change the political situation.
