Drones attacked Volgograd: one injured and disruptions at airports

On the night of October 11, the Russian city of Volgograd was attacked by drones, local sources report.



According to local authorities, windows in several apartment buildings were broken as a result of debris falling, and one person was injured. Rescue services arrived to establish a temporary shelter for affected residents. Doctors are providing assistance to the injured pensioner.


Earlier, local residents reported explosions and the operation of anti-aircraft missile systems in the sky. Temporary restrictions have been imposed on the arrival and departure of flights at the local airport. It was also reported that disruptions were observed in the operations of several airports to the south of Volgograd, including Kazan, Samara, Saratov, Volgograd, and Ulyanovsk.



As a result of the drone attack on the night of October 11, buildings and people in Volgograd were affected, and medical assistance was provided to the injured person. Temporary restrictions in the airport's operation and disruptions at other nearby airports indicate serious consequences of the events for the residents and infrastructure of the city and region.
