Bigger Batteries Coming to iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max

Apple's upcoming flagship smartphones are set to feature larger batteries, according to a new leak. The well-known leaker Digital Chat Station has shared battery capacity details for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, sourced from Chinese regulatory filings. These documents reveal that both models will pack bigger batteries than their predecessors. Notably, the U.S. versions will have even higher capacities due to the absence of a physical SIM card tray.

Battery Specs for iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max

According to the leak, the global version of the iPhone 18 Pro will feature a 4,056 mAh battery, while the U.S. model will get a 4,288 mAh cell. For comparison, the iPhone 17 Pro (global) had a 3,988 mAh battery, and the iPhone 17 Pro (eSIM) came with 4,252 mAh. As for the iPhone 18 Pro Max, the worldwide version will pack a 5,391 mAh battery, while the U.S. variant will offer 5,567 mAh. Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max in early September. Alongside these models, the company is also rumored to introduce its first foldable smartphone.
