Misappropriation of budget funds in Vinnytsia

The prosecutors have issued suspicions against three individuals, including the head of the Infrastructure Restoration and Development Service in Vinnytsia region, the head of one of the departments of this service, and the director of the contracting company.
The suspects are charged with crimes related to the misappropriation of budget funds in particularly large amounts under martial law, as well as the submission of knowingly false information in official documents. It is known that the procurement of works for the operational maintenance of roads of national significance was conducted in December 2022. The contract was concluded with a company that did not have the appropriate license to perform these works.
