Lithuania is preparing for the 'West-2025' exercise and has announced the deployment of only 8,000 of its servicemen. However, according to intelligence, the total number of participants will be around 30,000, of which only 2,000 are Russian soldiers. Additionally, despite the low likelihood of hybrid attacks, the head of military intelligence, Mindaugas Majonis, warns against provocations during the exercises.
The 'West-2025' exercises are scheduled for September 12-16 and are expected to be exciting. They will include training in air defense, defensive combat, and tactical air support. Lithuania has already taken measures and closed part of its airspace along the border with Belarus to prepare for these exercises.
