Digital passes will appear in Kyiv to allow movement during curfew hours starting in 2026. They will be issued for legal travel from 00:00 to 05:00 at night.

This idea has been approved by the Kyiv City Defense Council. It is planned that the Kyiv City Military Administration, together with the 12th Army Corps of the Ukrainian Ground Forces, will develop a system for the use of these digital passes. Moreover, it is also planned to extend this system to the entire region and create a corresponding information and communication system for managing such passes.

A special information and communication platform will be created for the operation of this system, which will be responsible for digital passes for vehicles.

Such passes will be available to employees of the security and defense sector, as well as employees of critical infrastructure facilities. Companies such as Bolt, Uklon, and Uber have previously appealed to the Kyiv Military Administration with a request to develop a mechanism that would allow them to continue operating during curfew hours.

By adding digital passes, the city of Kyiv regulates movement during curfew restrictions to ensure proper compliance. Companies will also be able to continue their activities during these restricted hours thanks to innovative technologies.
