The popular low-cost airline Ryanair has increased the minimum cabin baggage allowance that does not require extra payment. As reported by 'Hvylya', this information is available on the airline's website.

The budget airline Ryanair has expanded the permissible dimensions of free cabin baggage for its passengers. Starting from August 1, 2025, updated rules have come into effect: previously, the maximum dimensions of small cabin baggage were 40x25x20 cm, but now passengers are allowed to bring bags measuring 40x30x20 cm on board without additional charges. These changes apply to all travelers, regardless of the chosen fare plan.

At the same time, the requirements for large cabin baggage, which is charged separately when purchasing a basic ticket, remain unchanged – its dimensions, as before, should not exceed 55x40x20 cm. Interestingly, after this update, the standards for small cabin baggage at Ryanair now fully comply with the norms of another low-cost airline – Wizz Air. It was previously reported that the EU made an important decision regarding cabin baggage on Wizz Air and Ryanair flights.

The announcement about the increase in the minimum cabin baggage allowance by Ryanair is an important step for passengers, who can now take more belongings with them without extra payment, making the journey more comfortable and convenient. This update also indicates the competition between budget airlines in terms of providing services and conditions for passengers.
