Vitaliy Sachko sensationally defeated Bublik in Metz: the Ukrainian reaches the ATP quarter-finals for the first time

Ukrainian tennis player Vitaliy Sachko surprised everyone at the ATP 250 tournament in Metz, managing to defeat the world No. 13 Alexander Bublik in three sets. This news is reported by 'Glavkom'.


Sachko started the tournament as a lucky loser but reached the second round of an ATP tournament for the first time in his career.


In the second round match, Sachko won the first set 7:5, but in the second set Bublik, a fan of the ball, took the lead - 6:3.

This victory allowed Sachko to reach the quarter-finals of an ATP tournament for the first time in his career.


In the fight for the semi-finals, the tennis player will meet the Frenchman Clément Tabur, who is currently ranked 243rd in the world rankings. It is worth noting that Sachko lost to him in the final qualification match at the tournament in Metz.
