Recently, fraudsters have intensified their activity on social networks and messaging apps, luring teenagers with promises of easy jobs that require no experience. These seemingly simple work offers often mask dangerous or illegal tasks designed to exploit young people.
Scammers frequently request teens to share their bank card information, account details, or to receive and transfer money on their behalf. In some cases, they pressure teenagers into risky actions such as photographing certain locations, passing along sensitive information, or even committing arson. Such schemes pose serious threats, making vigilance and caution essential for young users.
Safety Guidelines for Teenagers
To avoid falling victim to these scams, teenagers should follow several key precautions:
- Reject any suspicious job offers from strangers;
- Never share bank details, passwords, or account access;
- Avoid clicking on questionable links;
- Refuse to carry out any unsafe or illegal tasks.
