The victory over the Dutch AZ with a score of 3:0 brought Ukraine 0.5 points. Thanks to this, the overall coefficient for the last five seasons has risen to 25.537.

Ukraine also remains the only country outside the top-15 that still has a representative in European competitions. All competitors have already completed their performances, which gives an additional advantage.

Further progress depends directly on the result of the return match against AZ. If Shakhtar does not lose, Ukraine will be able to surpass Serbia as well.
Moreover, reaching the semi-finals will bring an additional 0.5 bonus points. This provides a chance to rise to the top-15 of the seasonal ranking, which is important for the distribution of places in European competitions in the future.
At the same time, it is important for the team to avoid mistakes similar to the game against the Polish Lech in the 1/8 finals, where the advantage could have been lost.
