Detention of Zenit's head coach and his wife at Munich airport
The head coach of the football club 'Zenit', Sergey Semak, and his wife Anna Semak were detained at Munich airport. This was reported by 'Glavkom'.
Anna Semak wrote on her Telegram channel that she and her husband had visited Germany and made several purchases before returning home. They were stopped by uniformed employees at the airport before their flight to Russia.
'I don't know how long they kept us, forcing us to pay a large fine for a pair of shoes, glasses, and a scarf, making us leave all the purchased items (which we handed over to a friend who lives in Germany) in the EU. According to new laws, Russian citizens are not allowed to take out purchased items from Europe to Russia worth more than 300 euros per item' - wrote Semak.
She noted that due to the incident, she and her husband missed their flight. They had to pay a significant amount for new tickets.
As we exhaled, just as the plane took off, we said goodbye to Germany and Munich forever. In our minds, we replayed lines from 'Brother-2' - Semak noted.
Putin's supporters at the event
Let us remind you, Russian speed skater Alexandra Saitova, whom the International Skating Union (ISU) recognized as a neutral athlete, was present at Russian dictator Vladimir Putin's annual address to the Federal Assembly.
On February 29, 2024, Saitova attended Putin's annual address to the Federal Assembly.
Another supporter of Putin, Russian skier Veronika Stepanova, posted a photo on Instagram about Saitova's participation in the propaganda event.
Anna and Sergey Semak were detained at Munich airport while departing for Russia due to violations of new European laws on the export of goods. The couple had to pay a fine and additionally pay for tickets due to this incident, which led to their delay for the flight.
